Sterling Silver, Synthetic Ruby, Turquoise
Winter 2015
She made this necklace in her intermediate jewellery class, which focused mainly on casting. The two links were initially built out of copper and brass. She cast the small round ones at school and sent out the larger one to a casting company.
She had a completely different idea for this project when it was first assigned to us. Her teacher was not excited by it, and pushed me to do better. She's really happy he did, because she like how this piece turned out. She discovered with this piece that she enjoy designing alien-looking things with too many appendages and stones. She just sent this piece to the CJ Expos, which will be held in Toronto and Vancouver in August! top

Sterling Silver, Fine Sliver
Fall 2016
For her first project in her Form as Language class, she were required to design a piece of jewellery that challenges, uses, imitates, or questions the body in some manner. She chose to design a piece of jewellery that challenges where jewellery is traditionally found on the body, and made an elbow piece!
The bottom section is positioned to highlight the elbow, and the wires up top dance around the upper arm. It is made primarily of sterling silver, with the sheet elements made of fine silver. The sheet elements extend off the main structure with varying heights of wire. top
